- ➤ Catholic Charities of Tompkins and Tioga Counties has received a $10,500 NYSDEC grant to support its emergency food pantry and feeding programs. The non-profit will buy two generators to keep fresh food donations safe during power outages. WENY
- ➤ Ithaca's winter farmers market began Saturday, Jan. 3 at Triphammer Marketplace at 2255 North Triphammer Road. It will run every Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. through March (8th year edition). WENY
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Community Arts Partnership has opened four grant cycles for 2026 local art projects with deadlines from Feb. 4 to Feb. 19. A live grant writing workshop will be held at CAP ArtSpace on Jan. 5 (6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.) and a virtual session via Zoom is planned on Jan. 7 (6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.). 607 News Now
