- ➤ Catholic Charities of Tompkins/Tioga will launch its mobile food truck, Tioga F.R.E.S.H (Food Resources Everyone Should Have) to help fight food insecurity. The truck will serve meals at 932 West River Road on Wednesdays through Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will rotate to other locations on Tuesdays. WENY

- ➤ Peter Pakeman said that key legacy men's soccer awards went unawarded for nearly a decade after a coaching change. Cornell Athletics reinstated his VIP Award this past fall + plans to restore other historical awards over the next year. The Cornell Daily Sun

- ➤ Cornell's men's hockey lost 4-1 to top-10 Quinnipiac on Saturday at Lynah Rink. Coach Casey Jones said the third period faltered after promising early play, ending a six-game win streak; the team will face Dartmouth and Harvard next weekend. The Cornell Daily Sun
- ➤ Cornell’s women’s hockey team lost 3-1 to Yale after costly penalties allowed the Bulldogs to build an early lead (they will face Penn State at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lynah Rink). The Cornell Daily Sun
- ➤ Results from Section 4 indoor track & field at the Hurley Invitational on Jan. 16 at Ithaca College show Vestal led the boys with 75 points and the girls with 68 points, as athletes posted notable times and distances in various events. Ithaca Journal
