GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Tompkins County Public Library will host the free, IRS-certified Cornell VITA tax program starting Tuesday, Feb. 3 at its Digital Lab, offering in-person appointments on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through April 14. Residents earning $69,000 or less can book appointments via 2-1-1 starting Jan. 26 (requirements apply). 14850

- ➤ Cornell’s men’s hockey beat Brown 4-2 on Saturday in Providence to complete a road sweep of Brown and Yale. Freshman Gio DiGiulian scored two key goals as coach Casey Jones praised the new first line, and Cornell will next face Colgate in a home-and-home series. The Cornell Daily Sun
