- ➤ Newfield prepares for its fourth annual Greenup Day on Saturday, Apr. 18 as community members join founder Mitch Raymond to clean up roadsides and pass on cleanup values to future generations. - ➤ Tompkins Cortland Community College reached an agreement with RIT on March 26 that guarantees junior-year spots with scholarships at Saunders College of Business for accounting, business and hospitality graduates. - ➤ City officials approved The Hive, a mixed-income housing project at 132 Cherry Street, at the March 24 planning board meeting.
