  • Harvard economist Edward Glaeser will deliver the Frank Knight Lecture on cities, housing and infrastructure on May 4 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Malott Hall, Room 228 at Cornell.  Cornell Chronicle

  • Jeanelle Wu, a Cornell sophomore, reports that Sheldon Court on South Campus offers upperclassmen extra-large doubles and quick access to Collegetown Bagels & bus stops.   • Cayuga Operating Company, a TeraWulf affiliate, got a DEC permit on April 13 to draw 1 million gallons per day from Cayuga Lake from April 13 to April 30, 2031 for maintenance, sump pumping, and dust control.   • Tompkins County Whole Health seeks an Ithaca resident to fill a vacant health board seat, and candidates must be at least 18 (and U.S. citizens) to apply at the County Legislature office at 121 E. Court Street. The full-term volunteer position ends December 2032.  607 News Now

  • A Dryden primary care clinic that served the area for 70 years will close on May 1 — routine care will shift to the Shops at Ithaca Mall and Cortland on May 4. Family Health Network will try a mobile clinic at Dryden Center for Community on May 20 and May 29.  The Ithaca Voice
