- ➤ A four-car crash on the 900 block of Danby Road near Ithaca College on Monday morning left one person hospitalized and two cars heavily damaged—vehicle occupants escaped as emergency crews spent 45 minutes clearing engine fluids from the roadway. The Ithaca Voice

- ➤ On April 17, about 250 Cornell faculty and students gathered at Ho Plaza to protest a $1 billion funding freeze and 75 stop-work orders that paused research projects—Cornell President Michael Kotlikoff said the college had not yet received formal notice of the freeze. Ithaca Journal
- ➤ Cornell researchers have developed RHyME— a robotic framework powered by artificial intelligence that lets robots learn tasks by watching a single how-to video. The system uses only 30 minutes of robot data and achieved a more than 50% increase in task success during lab tests, a result that may reduce the cost and time needed for training future robots.
