- ➤ Big Red students are preparing for Cornell Slope Day as West Avenue and its parking lots will be closed from 6 a.m. May 6 until 7:30 a.m. May 8—Willard Straight Hall’s lot will reopen Thursday morning after a late closure. Campus Road between College and Stewart Avenues will shut down from 10:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. on concert day and any vehicles remaining in closed lots will be towed at the owner’s cost. 607 News Now
