- ➤ A new beer store named FLX Beverage Co. has opened in the old Finger Lakes Beverage Center spot in Ithaca’s west end and offers local and regional beers, ciders, hard seltzers and nonalcoholic drinks. The store is open every day until 8 p.m. and on Sundays until 6 p.m. — it was also open on Memorial Day. 14850

- ➤ The Cayuga Park development, once known as Carpenter Business Park, is nearly finished and includes a medical office building and two residential parts along Route 13. The final phase, Aurora Apartments with 141 market-rate units and retail space, is under construction and will add a new Fifth Street intersection for safer pedestrian access. Ithaca.com

- ➤ Vote on Athlete of Week is open until the end of day May 29 for ten high school athletes who competed from May 18 to May 24 — nominees include athletes from Dryden, Lansing, Corning, Owego, Chenango Valley, Elmira Notre Dame, Sidney, Elmira High, Binghamton and U-E.
