- ➤ Tompkins Chamber will honor five under-40 leaders at the Fab5 awards on June 2 in Tompkins County. The celebration hosted by AmeriCU will include a cocktail hour at 6 p.m., awards at 6:45 p.m. plus a dessert hour after 8:15 p.m. Tompkins Weekly
- ➤ A new shuttle links overlooks, parking areas, and trailheads at Taughannock Falls State Park to ease congestion. It runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends from May 23 through June 27 (daily service starts June 28 through Sept. 7) with tickets at $6 for adults and $1 for children. Tompkins Weekly

- ➤ Cornell’s Board of Trustees will add five new trustees – alumni including Jason Brauth, Winifred Sandler Grinspoon, Angela Hwang, John H. - ➤ Officials updated on Asteri Apartments during the May 19 meeting, noting safety issues like nonworking elevator lights, overflowing trash rooms and exposed hazards persist after the vacate order was lifted.
