- ➤ Downtown Ithaca’s historic State Theatre will host a fall concert lineup starting with Kaleo on September 6 — followed by shows with X Ambassadors, Celtic Thunder, The Front Bottoms, Steve Hackett, Blues Traveler, Modest Mouse with Built to Spill, Blackberry Smoke, Kathleen Madigan, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and Pink Talking Fish over the coming months. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Tompkins Cortland Community College graduates in the Sustainable Farming and Food Systems Program gained a direct transfer path to Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences after TC3 President Amy Kremenek and CALS Dean Benjamin Houlton signed an agreement on Aug. 7 at the TC3 farm. Students who complete the A.A.S. degree with a 3.0 GPA and a B or better in transferable courses will receive priority consideration for admission & build a clear academic pathway. Ithaca.com
