- ➤ Angelhearts Diner closed its Gateway Commons location and moved to Press Bay Alley on West Green Street, where it rebranded as Angelhearts Donuts and continued to serve its vegan menu and new donut offerings—landlord issues and a long building closure led to the move, and the new shop opened the week of Oct.13 with increased production capacity. - ➤ New York’s CHARM program will fund 56 murals across 21 counties, including 14 in Ithaca (and in the Village of Brooktondale), with all pieces to be finished by November as part of a $1 million initiative. - ➤ Ithaca College released its 2025 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report on Sept. 30, which shows three years of crime and fire data and includes 137 policies such as the new anti-hazing rules required by federal law.
