- ➤ Ariana Klinkov, Cornell’s women’s fencing coach since 2019, is a community leader & mentor to local youth. She moved to Groton in 2020 & works with her partner, Jesse Norton, to plan events like scarecrow builds and fencing camps. Tompkins Weekly
- ➤ Residents on Fayette Street celebrated a fresh pavement that ended 43 years of bumps during a community event on Oct. 18. Mayor Robert Cantelmo and resident Romana Wuest cut the ribbon — the work took three weeks and prompts residents to report road issues as state-maintained routes continue to need attention.
