  • On Nov. 15, Ithaca College band awdam held a house show to debut their EP 'You Win!' as a phone display lit up at 12 a.m. on Nov. 16—recorded live at Hidden Fortress Studio in Philadelphia in August, the event marked a milestone for the band including juniors Alex Siegelson, Dan Boush, Wade Messier and Sam Nejberger.  The Ithacan

  • On November 19, Senator Lea Webb presented the Hammerstone School with the NYS Senate Empire Award for empowering women and non-binary individuals in carpentry. The school—founded in 2013—offers courses from basic carpentry to advanced projects like tiny houses and interior detailing.  607 News Now

SPORTS NEWS

  • The final fall Guthrie Athlete of the Week nominees from Tioga, Ithaca, Owego, Chenango Forks, Union-Endicott, Waverly — and Whitney Point were announced and online voting is open until noon on November 27. Seven athletes earned nominations from standout performances in football, cross country, swimming and field hockey while winter voting will resume in December.  Ithaca Journal
