The SHAPE of Place: A Joint Exhibition by Pat Hunsinger and Carol Spence

About this event

Through distinct, yet complementary artistic practices, Pat Hunsinger and Carol Spence explore the relationship between humanity, the natural world, and the passage of time. Together, the artists offer complementary perspectives on the interconnectedness of life and the landscapes that shape us.

Inspired by the Susquehanna River, layered landscapes, and the rhythms of nature, Spence and Hunsinger reflect on change, resilience, and memory. Their exploration of the beauty, fragility, and resilience of the natural world invite viewers to reflect on the ways in which their lives are entwined with the environment.

The gallery is located at 120 W. State St./Martin Luther King Jr. St., Ithaca, NY. The phone number is 607-277-1626. Regular hours are Thursday-Sunday, 12-5 p.m. Curbside parking is available, and the building is ADA accessible. Exhibits are made possible, in part, with funds from the NYS Council on the Arts, administered by the Community Arts Partnership.
