Course Tuition: $300 Sliding scale : $195-420

Materials Fee: $30

This two session evening course meets from 5:00-8:30 pm on Monday November 16th and Tuesday November 17th.

Who this class is for: Hammerstone courses are open to all women and gender minorities. Hammerstone welcomes all trans folks including trans men. This course welcomes folks of all skill levels with no prerequisite.

Description: Cutting boards are a great starter project for new woodworkers. They allow us to practice the fundamental skills of processing wood, glue-ups, surfacing and edging slabs, and sanding to a beautiful finish. They also give us the opportunity to experiment with a wide variety of beautiful woods without breaking the bank. Cutting boards make great gifts, but are also functional tools for your own home.

•

Full Price

I consider myself middle income/wealth. Paying this price may be a sacrifice, but I can find the resources to do so. This is the full cost of running a course including paying our teachers a fair wage, covering insurance, maintaining tools and facilities, managing administration, and supporting our family.

•

Full Support

I consider myself low-income/low-wealth. I cannot access this course without financial help.

•

Partial Support

I consider myself low-middle income/wealth. Paying full price for this course presents somewhat of a financial hardship.

•

Partial Contributor

I consider myself upper-middle income/wealth. I would like to make a donation on top of the full price of the course in order to help subsidize access for those who cannot pay the full tuition.

•

Full Contributor

I have the resources to make a substantial donation to ensure that these classes remain accessible to people of all income/wealth levels.
